SSE Students Celebrated Mid-autumn Festival in Clemson
- On September 19th this year, people got together to eat with their families, looked at the moon, and celebrated one of the biggest festivals in the Chinese lunar calendar. However, celebrations stretched far beyond the border of China. Students from School of Software Engineering of USTC gathered together to celebrate Mid-autumn Festival in the University Villiage in South Carolina, US.

These students joined the 2013 USTC-Clemson joint program of Computer Science. This year 17 students were selected to pursue their study in Clemson University. This is their first Mid-autumn Festival in Clemson University. The apartment in university village is filled with laughters and fun. Delicious Chinese cuisines were prepared for the Mid-autumn festival celebration. Some other students of the same major were invited to celebrate the festival together. They showed genuine interest and excitement to celebrate the festival and shared the delicious food.

During the dinner they discussed a lot about what they had seen and heard since they started their new life in the US. They also shared some tips for efficient learning as well as their plans for the future. They are ready to face the new challenges in the vibrant univeristy.
